I'm fitting a Mavic Ksyrium Pro UST wheelset to my vintage Monark special racer. The fork dropouts are 8.3mm/8.5mm, while the axle is 9mm. Should I file the dropouts or the axle to make it fit?
Also, my fork's dropout spacing is 101.7mm (instead of 100mm). Will this cause issues, or can the quick release handle the difference?

There are axles that have flat spots on them to give more room for the dropouts, you’ll probably need one of those (they’re not all the same, it will take some testing)
