  1. Could the chainring be the issue for chain falling off or into the smaller chainring when at low cadence/high power?

    Id say yes it needs replacing and yes could also be the cause of the chain coming off. But it depends exactly how its coming off. If pedals are lurching forward under high pressure then thats likely tooth and or chain wear.

  3. I’m surprised you can ride that big ring. When my Dura Ace crankset wore out, I would stand up to pedal up a rise or quickly increase my mph and it would jump the chainring forward under multiple links before it would bite again. It sucked so bad and would scare the crap out of me when it happened. So relieved when I finally replaced it.

    I’ve never seen wear at this magnitude. This is the type of thing that keeps me at night.
