Hi guys,
I’m new in cycling and I’m looking for my first road bike. I saw this bike on marketplave and went to see it.

The guy is selling a Cannondale supersix evo black inc (2015) & the S-works shoes for a total of $1500.

The bike is in a really good condition and is super light (6.8kg). I’m 1m80 and the bike is size 56, which fits me well. The guy hasn’t done any race with it and he used it for less than 10,000km. He told me he bought this bike new in 2015 for around $12,000.

The shoes is the perfect size and he told me they are worth $400.

Should I buy them? I’m just scared that the bike is too old and I’ll have to replace a lot of gears in the future. Thank you for your help!

This is peak old school race bike, ultra-lightweight, no aero, thin tires, and super responsive . I had the same frame and wheels but a lower tier model, if you are in good shape or live somewhere hilly and have good roads, it would be a ton of fun

There are definitely newer bikes that would be better for a noob with more relaxed geometry and wider tire clearance but at that price I say buy it and if you find it uncomfortable and want to make a change, I don’t think you will lose any money and get a free pair of shoes! These frames will always have value to “old school” riders or weight weenies. If I had the money to have a collection of bikes, it would be on my list

  2. Nice bike. I’m guessing new it was 3k. Pricing is pretty spot on. Definitely a light weight race bike. Is this your first bike?
