Hello, has anyone ever tried this kryptonite kind of insurance?
Could anyone tell if this is reliable and I can go with it instead of paying for insurance because it’s confirmed in most cases, that they pay money back?
Any suitable info appreciated!

Read the fine print carefully. It is not a replacement for proper insurance. Refusal to reimburse is very common with this coverage.
Many renter and homeowner policies will *actually* cover bike theft outside the home. Read yours before purchasing additional insurance.
I haven’t tried being reimbursed for it (haven’t had a bike stolen yet), but do remember when I received a Kryptonite lock as a gift and went to register it as required for the insurance coverage, their coverage was much more limited in scope than I would have expected. You’ll need to read the details of this particular offer, but if I remember correctly the details on my lock were limited value replacement and coverage was for only one year after date of purchase.
The Kryptonite was a kind and thoughtful gift from my family, but it’s not what I’d choose to secure my ebike. I got a Litelok X1 instead.
