My 2017 Ride the Train, Ride My Bike in Luxembourg season is under way! For the whopping sum of two euros, I recently CFL’d it north where, on the train, I fell into conversation with Mandy, a CFL ticket control person who just happened to be from … drum roll, please … Schlindermanderscheid! So I made a snap decision to depart in Michelau and after riding here and there for various views of Bourscheid Castle, ended up in Schlindermanderscheid, my favorite 21-letter Luxembourg village. Here’s a video.
Enjoy!
(NOTE: I am aware that the village’s Lëtzebuergesch name is Schlënnermanescht, but Schlindermanderscheid is longer and to idiots such as myself, funnier.)

This is so funny 😉 Besides, Mandy is a nice one 😉 I'm luxembourgish and I have to tell you that "Schlindermanderscheid" is only the 2nd-longest word in Lux, the longest word is a place next to Schl'scheid , in fact the valley next to Schl'scheid, named SCHLINDERMANDERSCHEIDERGRUND. 28 letters 😉
Salut Mike – weider vill Spaass mat dengem Vëlo zu Lëtzebuerg! Et ass ëmmer flott deng Videoen ze kucken!
So, it is Luxembourgish? Good, because I couldn't even begin to break apart that German.
