This bike is more machine than man (to quote Obi Wan) having replaced virtually every part on it at some point, but the frame is now starting to lose paint and I'm worried about it suffering a rusty fate.
Anyone think this is worth saving and anyone from the UK (NORTH) recommend a safe pair of hands to do it? I'm in York.

First of all, give it a good wash/wipe to see the exact issues it has with paint. Second, you can protect it without a paint restoration. Although some parts have cracked paint rather than missing paint, so water could gather there and cause more damage than on exposed areas.
Anyway, it deserves taking care of.
