Hi! I want to find a way to keep my lock held down in my basket. I think that if it continually moves around in there, it will eventually stress the mesh on the basket and poke a hole. I'm open to a specific part or putting something DIY together.

A blanket?

Obviously get some that fit the lock and some bolts to bolt them through the mesh of basket.
Custom foam. Cut to fit basket and carve out spot for lock.
Use an old inner tube with some zipties.
Maybe two small bungee cords?

Velcro ties. Looks like you can slip them through the bottom grate.
Is that wire mesh, or fabric? If it’s wire, it’s never going to poke a hole.
I’m a big fan of [Original Free Range](https://originalfreerange.com) and his innovations. I use about 20 [Mini Shock Cord Grippers ](https://originalfreerange.com/products/copy-of-riders-lanyard-1)to tie down just about anything to my bicycles. I find them much better than zip ties, straps, velcro, rope, etc. I have a lot of other stuff by him, too.
I have a lot of cheap hardware stores in my area that sell double sided hook/loop rolls. Its basically a 20 foot roll of velcro that is perfect for the needs of strapping things to your bike/basket.
if no access to a 3d printer for clips, use some shoestrings

Can you just lock it through the grate around the top and let it sort of hang at an angle? Works great to carry a lock on a lot of plain racks

Everybody has such great ideas, I’ll just point out some specifics that might help.
That particular lock weighs a lot, so the more that you can immobilize it the better. If it vibrates or can move around at all, it’s doing damage.
Wherever your basket connects to your bike is the best anchor point. If you move the lock to the outside edges of your basket, it could add excess weight or cause vibrations which are no Bueno.
You could get some Velcro straps to hold it in place

I would adhere some strong Velcro to a couple of spots on the lock and matching spots on the basket. This will keep it from rattling but still let you place and pick easily
Voile strap through the top wider holes then slide the lock through. It’s what I do and it’s never failed me
Sticky Velcro
Two EVA foam blocks, cut to encapsulate the lock bars enough to keep them in place, but take no effort to pop loose. Drill the blocks to fit the bar, and then cut a slit to push the lock into place. Cut the slit wider to get the right ‘snap in action’. Zip tie the two blocks to the bottom or side, trying to keep as much basket open as possible.
