Hi I have a new tubeless wheelset that I'm having trouble with. I've topped up the sealant twice already. The second top up fixed one of the tires from going flat within days. But the front tire still is losing pressure slowly over a 4-5 days.
I thought maybe it was a taping issue so submerged it in water today and found that it wasn't leaking/bubbling from spokes or rim. But there is some tiny bubbles coming from the sidewall. Is this normal? Is it the WTB tires? Will it go away if I add even more sealant?
I have attached a video of the leak. Funnily enough it was similar spots on both sides. Left of the 'Byway' print. So…is it a defective tire? Or just lack of sealant.
Or just all WTB byway tires have this issue.

Have you done the sealant dance? Where you move the wheel around to get sealant on the walls too? Also I saw somewhere that cleaning your tire with soapy sponge helps the sealant stick to it.
Looks about right for WTB tires.
I generally find them to have the worst tubeless tires on the market.

Top up, air up and ride. It will eventually stop leaking.
The best way for me is, put the sealant in, pump the tire and go for a ride. I managed to seal every tire, even my friends Schwalbe smart sam that was leaking absolutely everywhere 😂
Yep, that’s just a WTB sidewall. It does stop leaking in the end, you just have to give the sealant time to plug all the micro-holes.
Ride it, get the sealant distributed
That happens, if you don’t start riding your bike right away/shake and spin the tire around after adding sealant to a new tire.
