  1. If it’s torqued to spec use some carbon assembly paste. If you use a ratcheting head to torque it’s pretty easy. My 3 size wrenches work fine as well

    The canyon comes with a torque wrench for the saddle. It’s an integrated seatpost, that’s why the seatpost bolt is where it is.

    Just torque it to the suggested 5 nm and then go a bit farther. I experienced some seatpost slippage on my Grail. I had to add extra carbon paste to the seatpost (not the carbon paste that came with the bike) AND had to torque to 6-7nm. I asked canyon if this would help stop the slippage and they said it would be fine to do this. Haven’t had any issues since.

  3. Really wish my Endurace CF 7 came with that torque wrench for the seat post. I contacted canyon about it this week, they emailed me once and haven’t responded to any of my replies…kinda frustrating
