This is CF 7.
1. I tried tightening this to set a particular height. It’s not helping.
2. It’s in a weird place to tighten. Shouldn’t it be on the other side lol?
1. What’s not helping? Have you torqued it to spec?
2. It’s fine and works where it is

If it’s torqued to spec use some carbon assembly paste. If you use a ratcheting head to torque it’s pretty easy. My 3 size wrenches work fine as well

The canyon comes with a torque wrench for the saddle. It’s an integrated seatpost, that’s why the seatpost bolt is where it is.
Just torque it to the suggested 5 nm and then go a bit farther. I experienced some seatpost slippage on my Grail. I had to add extra carbon paste to the seatpost (not the carbon paste that came with the bike) AND had to torque to 6-7nm. I asked canyon if this would help stop the slippage and they said it would be fine to do this. Haven’t had any issues since.

Really wish my Endurace CF 7 came with that torque wrench for the seat post. I contacted canyon about it this week, they emailed me once and haven’t responded to any of my replies…kinda frustrating

My Endurace came with the Canyon torque wrench, but just treated myself to this one specifically for that bolt, very nice piece (as usual from Lezyne) [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09SHR4CJ4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09SHR4CJ4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title)
