I saw this wheelset for sale on my local Craigslist, and it ticks a lot of boxes for what I'm looking for (700c/QR/disc) but $600 seems expensive for a used wheelset, even with three tires, cassette, and brake rotors. Any thoughts about a fair offer?

Like, $100. Seriously. These wheels are what, 20 years old? Gosh, I haven’t seen a 340 in the wild in *at least* a decade.

If this were in my shop, it would be in the donation bin. There is virtually zero value here. The only value here, if any, is the fact it matches the specs you need. Which, I’d say is worth about $100 bucks.

You can find modern wheels with DT Swiss 350 hub for around $200 that you can simply purchase an endcap conversion for to make it QR. Search the Seattle CL.

$600 in the secondary market is borderline carbon wheelset territory.
