So I am not well versed in bike component names so excuse me if I name something wrong. I have this used gravel bike and about a month after I bought it the left crank kept becoming loose so I brought it into the bike shop to put new cranks on it.
At the bike shop they decided to replace the BB as well and when they took it out they discovered that the threading on the BB shell (inside the bike) was stripped/bad threads.
They informed me about this issue and said the threads were so bad they don't think they could even rethread them (or something along those lines). I don't have warranty on the bike because it's second hand so the LBS said they would do their best to fit a new BB and hope it sticks but mentioned that if it starts slipping there is not much they can do. (The BB they put in sticks out a bit (exposed threading) but they said it wouldn't be an issue it was the best fit they could order.
I've been riding a month since that visit and on my ride yesterday I heard a creaking sound, stopped riding and examined the BB. When I jiggle the cranks i can see the BB moving in the shell (see video). I called for a ride and took it home.
The bike shop already said they don't think they could help me if it slipped again. What are my options? I am open to permanent/unconventional solutions.

You have a few options.
1. The simplest – find a good bike shop and see if there’s enough there to chase the threads. Then loctite the bottom bracket in.
2. Have it tapped to Italian – the diameter of those taps is just slightly larger so cutting new threads works. You’ll obviously need a matching Italian bottom bracket.
3. You can get sort of rescue bottom brackets that thread together and don’t rely on the threads.
