I recently started working on this 16" pit(?) bike just as a random project, but now I'm getting into the weeds with things that I can't seem to grasp as I don't ride bmx.
The original chain wheel is 36T 1/2" x 3/32. I know NOTHING about gear ratios so I was wondering either A) what size freewheel should I get or B) how can I figure out the best size? I know this can really vary depending on what you're going for, so some input would be great.
Not sure if it matters, but I still need to get wheels and (possibly) brakes. So let me know if that will play a part as well.

Tbh when it comes to freewheels your options are very limited these days, 16t or 18t are about your lot in terms of availability and what can fit the wheelset you have.
