      I think it is a living on an ‘island’ thing talking about the weather. We have a place in Kefalonia, and the locals are equally obsessed with talking about the weather! One of our tv’s randomly came on in the night! We could hear voices downstairs, and when my husband bravely went down to confront whoever it was, he found an old episode of ‘Heartbeat’ playing on the tv! Really put the wind up us!😂

      Unbelievable about your prescription issues – you would think the pharmacy staff would all know the rules about the items / payments wouldn’t you !!
      Only benefit of now being over 60 is that I get all my prescription items for free ( after paying a fortune for them for many years for my 5 items!)
      I’ve had a few pairs of various Pavers sandals and usually find them comfortable for my wide feet! X

      You can change your TV settings to change the length of time until it goes into standby, or stop it doing it altogether – I've done this so my dog has it on until I get home.

      Great video Caroline, but…..where I live in sunny Scotland it’s been freezing and wet all through the summer with occasional sunshine….its wet today …13.8.24.

      Hi Caroline, we were on a different cruise line last November, and one of the pleasures was the passenger laundry. I know, cruisers usually rave about the food entertainment etc but I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of use, cost and excellent quality of their machines. Didn't even need to iron, boards and irons for free in laundry room. 😁🇦🇺

      I love the words that you do at the end of the weekly Vlog, my friend was going through a traumatic time and I sent her one of the quotes and she was so heartened by it., I like the idea of the face thing, but unfortunately out of my price range, thanks again for another vlog.

      She doesn't actually watch TV, but when I go out she goes into her basket in the kitchen and I just slip out the front door. The TV is just for the sound. Don't know if she's bothered but I got into the habit of doing it when I first got her as if she might just think I'm in the house somewhere.

      I work in a GP surgery and most of our patients are on something called repeat dispensing so you don’t have to order from the surgery for a year – you just collect from the pharmacy when they’re due. You will have a review each year and then the process starts again

      I've had there boxes for a long time . Loads of things like you had . I've always.been really pleased . My last box after yours . I was really disappointed . Had hardly anything . I did message them . X x

      I had exactly the same problem at my pharmacy recently but the pharmacist offered to contact the surgery and get a separate prescription for one of them for me (village pharmacy) what a star

      We also tried Celebrity Cruises last year and loved it, especially the indoor pool. However it seems most companies are trying to pack in younger, party animals….which we definitely are not. What we love most about Cunard is the plentiful seating around the lovely ballrooms and quiet bars for relaxing, again with comfy chairs a plenty. I hope they don't change to compete.
