  1. I got one new just like that in 86 for high-school graduation. Still got it. That one is in much better condition. I still love it. 200 seems fair but I know nothing.

  2. $200 sound more than fair if it’s in rideable condition. If the tires need replaced, I’d negotiate a little bit. But I wouldn’t be upset about paying $200 for that even with if it did need tires.

  3. That was my dream bike when I was a teenager! Great bike ( I have one now) good price if it fits you.

  4. I was gonna say “buy it” so I could sell you my mint Shimano 600 headset but it already has one 😆

That’s a very nice looking bike, I’d say 200 is appropriate for it provided it fits.

  6. Is that original paint? Looks almost new. The Shimano 600 series was a high end model. If all works good definitely worth $200.

Definitely worth it if it’s the right size and you like it. It’s be had 5-6 Ironmans over the years (including two currently). I’ve found a couple under 100 but ive spent time and money getting them cleaned up and running nice.

  8. If it fits you, I’d buy it. These are nice bikes. Shimano 600 is Ultegra; it just wasn’t called Ultegra until 1988 (the generation right after this bike’s generation).

I’ve got one of these in 105 and Wolber alpine wheelset. Too small for me, put some low rise nitto cruiser bars on it and friction shifters for my wife. She loves it. I’d say it’s worth the 200.
