Hey guys so im looking into buying my first bike and came across two decent looking ones in my area. I’m between this trek 2300 for $240 or this centurion ironman for $200 let me know what you guys think looks more bang for buck. (Yes the trek only has two pictures)

Nah, skip these early carbon fiber bikes. They are super cool, but when aluminum and carbon are close to each other, static electricity transfers between the two and causes them to corrode. Theres a specific term for this reaction, “Galvanic Corrosion”. The joints of these bikes are just glue, and eventually it fails.
