Today as I was braking down a decline I heard a noise and felt something on the back of my bike. When I stopped to look my brake rotor was completely off of the hub. No bolts were left and it looks like 2 of the bolts actually snapped through the side of the hub. I ordered some new bolts but now that I'm looking closer at the wheel it looks like this hub mount piece isn't something that can be removed easily.
Will I need to buy a whole new hub/spoke/rim for the bike?
Does anyone have any experience with this happening or any ideas as to why this happened?
I'm pretty new to all of this so I would appreciate any help on how to get back on the road safely and any maintenance l've likely forgotten to do.
I've got a State 4130 with mechanical disc brakes if that info helps at all.

This is a only a guess, but the only thing I can think of is the bolts were loose, which has caused the disc to move under the breaking force putting the strain on the bolts and causing what you found.
At a minimum you will need to rebuild your wheel with a new hub.
