  2. Oh yeah it’s awesome. The kind of gravel that’ll make you wish you had brought a mountain bike. Just FYI, a word of caution, Big Bend is in the desert, there’s no water and the nearest hospital is 150 miles away.

  3. Two of my best bikepacking trips have been to Big Bend Ranch State Park. Love that region. I am not familiar with the Davis Mountain Preserve but I would wonder if a mountain bike might be the better tool.
