  1. For the air be able to reach the spoke holes it has to pass the tape *somewhere*. Is there sealant in those tyres?

  2. There is likely an issue with the tape, but you may be able to fix with a couple more oz of sealant. Sealant should find those small gaps and fill it in. Not a guarantee though.

  3. Are those tubeless tires? There is a difference in how the bead is shaped on the tire as well as how the hook is shaped on the rim.

  4. It’s actually been dipped in a corrosive liquid ;)!

    I guess a mix of rim tape and faulty / loose presta valve.

    My bontrager rims have a drill hole in the side of the rim outer wall, they are sealed from behind the spokes with tape.
