  1. Looks just like mine, could be a 72. Check the wheels for a number in a diamond or on the rear derailleur for a number.

  2. Wow, that looks like a 62cm frame, haven’t seen a lot, if any early 70s french road bikes, of that size.

    This is a bike you see quite often so they are not worth that much. It will not be worth bringing to a bike shop IMO. It could be a good bike to learn to wrench on although an Asian made bike from the 80s might be a better candidate from a parts compatibility standpoint. The cranks might cause you some grief if you try to remove.

  4. Not worth $50. It was $100 new and the bottom of the Peugeot line. My first 10 speed was essentially the same bike but a Gitane. Vintage doesn’t mean good, just old.
