Did you have any concerns over mounting the rack with the seat on those eyelets? I’m currently planning on doing it with my wife’s trek 850, but the eyelets doesn’t look very sturdy, even though there are also mounts higher up the seat stays for a rack – like yours, so it’s obviously intended for a rack.

That’s one frame I’ve been fishing around for in order to do a gravel bike with – I have a Rockhopper frame sitting that I’ve half thought about using, but the geometry of those Singletracks seems to make them a lot more of an ideal candidate. Surprisingly hard to find a 900 series frame around Portland that I’d be willing to build with though.
What – if any – future upgrades plans do you have for your 950? I think a Dynamo would fill that out nicely.
