For all of you in the US, how much does it cost to get a collarbone fixed over there? Provided surgery is required?
Asking as a 36M regular human from Australia with Ti plates on both shoulders, from biking. For anyone wondering from the x-rays they look like they used T20 screws.

I was billed $27,000 for my latest. Paid close to 11k I think. Still get bills that go straight in the trash ha
That’s hard to imagine for a Canadian. I have a jersey that is a chest x-ray and it had hardware in it like yours. People have asked if it’s my x-ray.
Mine have been around 23k-30k with a specialist ..100k for more complicated ones, requires more docs
Lmao bro I have a plate on my left clavicle. I heard it snap and everything. I was in denial at first, telling my buddy I think I can shake it off and continue riding… but I could feel things moving in places they shouldn’t and said fuck it let’s ride out. Thankfully we just started the ride. I was so worried about losing my job though, cause I had just started it. Still working here going on 3 1/2 years though!
To answer your question I payed about $4,500 out of pocket. I have Aflacs accident and short term disability insurance though. They reimbursed me about $5k. I had a really good experience working with them
