I apologize if this bike is too old for this sub— they don’t seem to be any posts about it on Vintage Bikes, and they don’t ask repair questions. I am trying to move my seat forward, but can’t figure out how to adjust the saddle without breaking it. Do I need a specific tool to reach the two bolts securing the clamp under the saddle? I’ve tried three wrenches and they’re all too large. Or is there something I am missing? Bike is a Vicount english steelie— not sure of the year but circa 1970. The other side of the hardware is the exact same. Thank you!

It looks like theres a clamp on them 2 rails under the seat, loosen it a bit and shove the saddle forward a bit then reclamp
loosen the clamp and push it foward. then tighten the clamp.
It’s the bolt oriented vertically. You adjust it with an allen key from the bottom.
This flex-head 10mm wrench makes it easier to get at the bolt heads. After getting the saddle about where I want it, I tighten the forward bolt most of the way then finish tightening on the easier to reach rear bolt.
