There is a single cable stop brazed on to the frame approximately one inch behind that wonky double stop. I’m not sure why you would need more than one cable stop on a single speed bike.

I’m confused, isn’t that bike single speed from the factory?
Regardless, either run a full length of housing or just use the welded on cable stops.

Those cable stops seem to be pretty problematic. They may even be missing some parts.
I’d move the cable to the unused brazed stop right adjacent. Those were originally for a brake, but they’ll work for the shifter if you don’t need them for a rear brake.

It has a derailleur hanger and cable stops on the seat stay for RD. Maybe it’s all add on stuff?? Ran brake in braze-on and the RD cable in screwed on stops, just adjusted when they were fully twisted. Works, but pretty hokey.

Looks like it might be useful if u wanted to run a rear mech, and a rear brake, but if this is a SS bike I wonder if the chain stays are even wide enough to handle that…
I would just use the welded on cable stop in the middle and run housing on either end of course

Found some pics of factory ‘08-09 CRB’s and they did indeed have a RD hanger and these stops. Going with bad design.
