I just put a roof rack on my car, and I’ve heard too many horror stories about people forgetting the bike is up there and running into their garage. I made a simple hang tag in Fusion360 and 3d printed it, and it fits! Figured I’d share it with the rest of you, hopefully it helps someone remember their bike is up top!

I like it, might have to print one myself!
If there’s anything on our roof the garage door opener goes into the glove box. That way no one can absentmindedly open the garage door and pull in.
I drove into a garage once with two bikes on the roof…………………………………………….
Just make sure to remember to look just below the mirror when entering height-restricted spaces
I got a similar sign that is clear vinyl and it clings to the window. I see it when I look in the rear view mirror to back up.

Why not put something over your garage door opener or better yet put your opener in your trunk (assuming it’s not integrated)?
I need something like that for my hitch mounted bike rack so I don’t open my tailgate from inside. Haven’t yet, but fear I may forget one day. Lol
