I just got back from riding my PreK and first grader to school. Both kids started peddling this summer. My oldest showed no interest until this summer when we he realized he didn’t want to be the one kid that couldn’t bike in 1st grade (there are will quite a few). We finally took him to a bike camp since he’s been more successful listening and focusing with coaches and teachers rather than mom and dads.
Going for a ride before school calms his brain and allows him to better focus at school. I hope to keep this up as the weather turns cold, but it feels like a start to school
