Your spacers dont add up like they did before. Theres one missing, its important that your top cap can actually clamp onto something, but it doesnt on your picture. Go for one spacer, then your stem, the rest of your spacers on top. Make sure the top cap fits onto a spacer and properly secure it, otherwise you might risk damaging your headset

No there is one more that won’t fit up there…or well I’m afraid the top cap won’t go on. I’ll put that one on the top then.
I didn’t know that the tube shouldn’t be exposed but that makes complete sense. I didn’t think the last spacer would fit but it’s on there. Thank you for all the help guys. I really appreciate it. Got some better pedals and straps coming tomorrow! Got a pedal wrench today for it as well. Slowly turning my bike into a beast or at least trying. Haha.

This is all wrong.
The top cap is supposed to be used to preload the headset bearing. If the bearing isn’t loaded properly then the headset can allow the steerer to ruin the frame.
