First race here. Such a great event, perfect weather and vibes. 7+k feet of climbing over 55 miles. Multiple class four road sectors (unmaintained off road trails). My legs cramped like you wouldn’t believe for the last 20 miles but I managed to limp across the finish line with a respectable time. Excited to come back next year with better training, more hydration/salt and easier gearing. Shout out to all the volunteers and race organizers who put on a flawless event.
