It’s the 1,000,000th iteration of my 1988 Specialized Stumpjumper! Off the top of my head, the only thing that’s still original is the rear rim and spokes, half of the seatpost, and the chainstay u-brake. It started life as my dad’s mountain bike, sat in the garage for years, and later became my work bike. It’s lost all its gears and gained them back (mostly), and now makes for a mean city bike. Future changes may involve a wide range 10 speed cassette and putting the matching red rack back on for some summer touring.
