Yes, you can buy a longer stem in a variety of lengths and angles.
Pay attention to the clamp diameter for both the fork and the handlebar when purchasing.
Yeah you can stick a longer stem on, I’m not sure it will feel more ‘sporty’ though, you might achieve that from lowering the seat post a bit, or shifting the saddle along the rails.
Longer stem but youll mess with its handling 😅
Done something similar in the past. Bike was a a tad smaller for me. Eventually sold the bike and bought another one which fits perfectly.
