I recently fell on to the drive side of my bike, wasn’t a hard fall but my hood did rotate inwards. I also realized that my brake is loose/fidgety. Is this something I could fix by tightening something? Or is it broken?

The obvious thing to do is retention the cable, it may have moved a few mm.
the cable has slipped or there is friction in the cable/housing somewhere, that is preventing the lever from returning to its original position
You can pull so hard on the brakes before a crash, it stretches an old or cheap cable or it slips from being under torqued.

I think the brake lever “over pulled” the cable in your crash, leading to more free play. So the cable has stretched or moved. I would check that first.
