Bolts of the crank arm have been bolted to 12-14 Nm as per spec. I have ordered what I believe to be a [replacement part](https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B0052GCYWY). Can I safely do rides while I wait for it to arrive?

You can safely ride without it, it just indicates that you misinstall the cranks when it’s sticking out. But please make sure there is no gap between your crank arms and bottom bracket cups!
It‘s not only for indication! It actually locks the crank arm by moving into a small corresponding hole in the spindle.

As long as you properly torque the bolts to spec and the bearings are preloaded properly it’s fine. Note that you need to bring the tension up on those bolts gradually by alternating, don’t tighten one all at once and then tighten the other. If it was a customer, I would recommend we order a replacement for it and have them come back in to have it put on just to be safe.
