Nothing has been changed on my bicycle after 4000km of travel in one year, it endured heat, negative temperature, a lot of rain, and had poor maintenance especially the lube application
Since it started making a lot of noise I checked it with a CC-4, but as seen in the photo the end of the tool doesn't even reach the point where it should be
Yes the whole chain is loose when putting stress on it with two hands, but every roller on it is also loose and can move in every direction by approximately 1-2 millimeter, is this normal ? Should I consider myself lucky that the chain didn't broke yet ?

You’re using the tool wrong, the chain may not be slack while you’re measuring.
You have to put tension on the chain when you use a chain checker tool
4000km with no maintenance to your chain, wouldn’t be surprised if your also in the market for a cassette to match your new chain
