Hello to all the Brompton experts here.
I have a problem with my 2023 C-line. After troubleshooting on the rear hub, I got the bike back from service. Now I hear a strange noise when I hit the rear brake.
I checked all the screws, centered and adjusted the break, the fender was loose, but it didn't change the noise.
Any ideas? My next and last idea would be new break pads but they are quite new and far from worn out.

You got it back with that noise? Back to the service point. That ain’t right.
Does the same (or very similar) noise occur as a result of backpedaling ? And if it does, does the backpedaling change the noise sound much ?
Definitely bring it back to the mechanic and avoid riding it until then.
If I had to venture a guess, either the bolt holding the brake was loosened, or the bolts holding the wheel in place were not tightened properly.
Based on the sound, the wheel is somehow contacting your fender stays, possibly from the brake contact pushing the wheel laterally. Check if the wheel moves side to side.
