Looks nice, odd for me to see a 1000 with upright bars.
I do miss my 1000, I bought the frame set in 1984 after working the summer after graduating from high school. Spent the rest of the year, to spring of 1985 working and buying parts to build it up.
Unfortunately it developed a crack in the seatstay somewhere around 1996-97. Bought a custom Bilenky frame set and transferred as many of the parts from the Miyata to the new frame as I could, that’s my current bike.
