An involuntary multimodal adventure: By bike and train from Südtirol to my mom’s 80th birthday

Sometimes life, or a certain bus company, throws you a curveball. I needed to get back from a vacation to my mom’s 80th birthday celebration, and the bus company canceled my ticket on short notice. So I pieced together a bike/train/bike/train… multimodal trip from northern Italy to southwest Germany. Follow along on my adventure!
