Are crank pullers universal?

Yes and no, they have to share the same thread type and that isn’t always the case across brands
Having said that, it’s not a crank puller anyway, it’s actually a pusher if anything else, as long as it sits bitted against the axle to hammer it through it’s not a massive issue if the threaded section just sits inside the axle
