Bike has been sitting for 10 years because I got Lyme disease & other health problems. All the brake fluid in the rear brake drained out. I got some brake fluid in it and was trying to bleed the brakes. I couldn’t get any more fluid into the system, the top syringe has too much resistance. The brake lever doesn’t feel like it’s doing anything. The pistons in the caliber don’t move at all. New rear brake caliper and brake line. Original lever. See video.

most likely needs rebuild (you’ll need lever rebuild kit, something like this: [https://www.performancebike.com/sram-guide-disc-brake-lever-internals-and-service-kit-v2-11.5018.005.010/p678043](https://www.performancebike.com/sram-guide-disc-brake-lever-internals-and-service-kit-v2-11.5018.005.010/p678043) – but you need to verify whether this one will fit your brakes or you need different one)
those bight be the recalled guide levers that heat up, swell, and got to shit.
