Owner says that he started from the frame, so other parts don’t really help with identification. All stickers are apparently non-original.
What’s intriguing is the high seatstay bridge and the cable routing through the down tube. All of this suggests it’s made for an internal geared hub with coaster brake, but i’ve never seen this approach on this type of road bike style frame.
Just looking for some leads to identifying this because i’m quite inclined to buy it.
Thanks!

What do you mean ‘type?’ From the long wheelbase and dropouts, it looks like a cheap Raleigh 3 speed knockoff that someone painted and put a bigger internal gear hub (with coaster brake) and crank on. The frame and fork alone probably weighs about 10lbs.
It’s a cheap frankenbike, and too big for whoever was riding it. But long wheelbase and comfortable ride and lots of room for fenders though if you’re looking for a bright side.

Just an old junk frame with a rattlecan paint job.
Stem and crankset are the only two usable parts

Yes most basic Reynolds 531 (not sure if that’s the real name but all over the internet that’s what you see.) Got one myself (gitane). You can se them all over from simple commuter to retro tour de France.

You could call it a Resto-Mod and not be wrong.
Someone took an old 3-speed bike, removed its fenders, gave it modern wheels & ultra thin road tires, gave it straight bars, modern crankset, and a modern looking saddle.
_it’s the ultimate fixie_.

It’s too big of a frame for whomever is currently riding it.

Got to say, dude, it was a 10 speed, 27″ wheels in previous life. The brake-bridge and wheel gaps are obvious signs. Run it into the ground and have fun along the way. Great short range beater. Reynolds 531 steel?! Is it stickered as such? Definite GO bike, then.
