I don’t live in NY anymore, but even here in Maine where it’s safer I wouldn’t leave my bike in spots like this

Between me and my friend we’ve had 3 State Co beaters stolen. The last one I got off Craigslist for $100 and mfers cut through a kryptonite and hiplok gold chain for it. I just don’t trust these streets lol.

Back when fixed gear bikes were popping at my highschool some kid had a decked out Fuji track pro with a zipp wheelset parked out in front of the school. He only bothered to lock up the frame and by the end of the day when the final bell rang everything was gone except for the frame and bottom bracket :/

I locked my bike up all the time in NYC, but I’m always fearful locking up in Portland Or and rarely do it.
