Might be a pretty stupid question, but i haven't had this bike for long and it's my first fixie/road bike.
I've never had any experience with these types of tires first of all.
Also i dont think my tires are defected but always when i pump air into the tires after a few days they deflate.
I don't know why , maybe I'm pumping them wrong or maybe they have a tiny hole somewhere?
I don't really want to spend money on bike service right now.
Any advice is appreciated 🙏

Gonna go out on a limb and say if you’re inflating said tubes, watching them inflate and then slowly deflate there is in fact a puncture in the tube or you don’t know how a bike pump works.

remove the metal ring around the valve, no need for that and it can damage the valve. get a new tube if its deflating. we talkin flat flat?
Depends how fast it’s deflating. I always check tire pressure before I ride. Usually it goes from 110 to 80 PSI every week or so which is still rideable, but full tires are fast tires. It’s normal for tires to lose some pressure over time. Even on brand new tubes.
If your tires are going to 0, then you have a serious leak.
This is normal. Tire pressure changes over time and you may have to pump your tires periodically. Unless they completely deflate from one day to the next you shouldn’t worry about it.
You don’t need a mechanic to change the tube. In fact you really should change it this weekend so you know how to do it. Buy a lightweight tube, I like maxxis welterweight
Maybe the previous owner put it tubes made from a different material like tpu, latex or similar
These different materials “ride better” and are lighter but lose air naturally through diffusion much quicker
Usually tubes are made from Butyle because they hold air the longest and best overall, in tradeoff they are heavier
I recommend butyle, no question
Take off your tire and check the tube for holes by spraying some soapy water on the tube and then inflating it
Bubbles = hole in tube
First bike, no foot retention… hope there’s a front brake
Inner tubes are not the most perfectly made components on a bike, even a good tube will lose some pressure over night. Check your tire pressure before every ride.
Bait used to be believable
I always check my tires before every ride, and it’s normal for them to be a couple PSI low even just a day later.
