  1. Yes, I wrote this.

The fatal accident involving the Audi RS6 occurred on the A81 highway near Stuttgart, Germany, on that fateful morning. Behind the wheel was a 68-year-old man, navigating the left lane at speeds exceeding 200 km/h (124 mph) where no speed limit was in place. Overtaking other vehicles, he approached a truck in the middle lane, transporting metal pipes, which had recently shifted from the right lane.

Tragically, the truck’s rear lights were malfunctioning, rendering it nearly invisible from behind. The Audi driver, unaware of the imminent danger, failed to react in time. The collision was so forceful that the Audi launched into the air after striking the truck, ultimately crashing into a concrete pillar of a highway bridge. The impact was devastating, shattering the Audi into pieces and claiming the life of the driver instantaneously.

A dashcam video, recorded by another driver who witnessed the tragedy, depicted the Audi soaring over the truck, colliding with the bridge pillar with a resounding crash. The footage also captured debris raining down onto the highway and the truck. Although the truck driver and the witness were unharmed physically, the emotional shock lingered. The highway remained closed for hours as authorities cleared the scene and probed the crash’s cause, cementing its status as one of the worst recorded car crashes, claiming both life and vehicle.

  2. Audi RS6 top speed is 250max, can't go 300/km/h. You live by the sword, you die by the sword. The car driving at that speed would not have being in the field of view of the truck driver when he changed lanes. Stupid driver. He played one to many hands of poker. I have travelled that speeds on bikes many many times but the moment I see cars, I slowed down in order to prevent this.
