C20MJW close pass
after a close pass i waved at a passing police car thinking they might have seen it, they turned round and caught me up to find out why I gestured at them and to make sure I was ok.
Police do a great job, just need more of them!
PS my e-bike is 100% uk road legal.

Is it taxed and insured? Seemed to be going pretty quick to be classed as a bike only. Has a motor is a motor vehicle full stop.
normal police work – harrass the victim while the perpetrators get away scot free, its not that the police never saw the close pass its more the police pretends not to see the close pass as they might have to get out of their comfy police cars and do their jobs
It's scary how little some people know about some of the newer modes of transport and the most recent updates to the Highway Code. Perhaps scarier still is the general willingness to fill the knowledge vacuum with half-baked ideas about what seems about right to them.
Mercedes was miles away from you. Seems like you want the road to yourself, and that's just not going to happen in the UK. The roads are so busy now.
Why are you flagging down the officers like the car did something wrong? You've asked the police for assistance so they pull you to see whats wrong. You've uploaded it to YouTube thinking the police stopped you for riding an ebike. Are you having a laugh?
Wannabe snitch
With traffic on the roads today finding the perfect passing place is getting harder. Expecting everybody to stay behind you is selfish. Farmers with slow tractors pull over to let people pass. Never seen a cyclist pull over. And yes I cycle. Drive. And ride motorcycles. A big plus would be if road repairs didn't leave drains below the road surface. Forcing cyclists further out into the road.
I’m never thrilled by the ‘thank you for your service’
Inherited from the Americans. The police are just doing a job, for which they’re paid. No further thanks needed.
where wwas the close pass
Ebike? More like an handicapped vehicle😂
Imagine being so sad that you report petty nonsense to the police? I really don’t get it? This person either does not drive a car, or is a full blown Walter Mitty. Maybe both.
I bet his local police officers can’t stand him either. Giving them a load of extra nonsense work. Evidence like this should be dismissed in court anyway as the camera angles are not able to easily determine the actual distance between you and the car.
