I see a lot of hate on this subreddit for people asking stupid questions but I think that asking questions only increases my knowledge. Especially coming for more experienced riders. Please don’t hate 🙏
Anyway,
I am planning for a custom build and want to go for really short cranks.
Right now I run 175mm and I’m wanting to go shorter.
People say the shorter the crank,the easier it is to do some tricks like 360 and bars.
Not sure if that’s true that why I’m here to also ask.
Should I go for the odyssey caliburs 165mm
Or The feind ones for 160mm.
I am 5,6 and don’t run pegs.

I like shorter because I ran pegs awhile back, since I have a short stem my front wheel would hit my foot when I throw barspins. Not really sure with the whole spin thing, but I do not feel the difference between 175 or 165 (maybe I am still a noob to spinning).
id say go with the 165 Odyssey, length is still important for crank torque and if your not running pegs you don’t need to worry about heel clearance. also Odyssey parts always 🔥
can’t go wrong with anything from Odyssey imo. And 165 is better than 160. 160 is for ankle biters at the race track
Get 165 unless you are short af. Or have big ass feet that are going to hit pegs. 160 is small af imo. 165-170 is golden for most adults. As far as brand..probably odyssey. Not a huge fan of the weird clamp they do on some of their cranks, but these dont look to be like that. They seem legit. I’ve always loved primo Churchill cranks.
I have the calibur v2, they’re solid cranks, can’t go wrong with those.
