  1. Urgent enough to not ride it anymore untill you replace that chain. (Or replace just that link, but I’d replace the chain).

    Count the number of links. Buy a new chain and make the new one the same size as old one and remove links as needed , (or line them up side by side), tool needed here.

    It is not too hard with minimal tools. Or you bring it to your LBS.

  3. Just needs a quick link instead of that broken link. If you don’t have a chain breaker, a nail and a hammer can do the job.

    Always should have a spare quick link, at least at home, but stuffing it in a bar end saves a lot of time in case such thing happens
