I just received my first bik: Canyon Strive:On CFR Underdog.
Strangley I hav a weird Patina on the Carbon and the front wheel bolt has a abrasion. Is this normal to a new bike?
Also, which purpose does the carbon assembley paste serve?
Thanks!

Which patina? CFR model are often not painted like yours. You are just looking to naked carbon and that is the expected finish for that kind of CFR bikes.
Let me add that paying for the lightest and weaker carbon in an e-bike is just wasting money.
Edit: Let me clarify that is a gorgeous bike and anybody can spend its money as he wants. I really hope OP enjoys his new bike.
This? Again?
Ah yes, the famous oxidation of carbon fibre.
Average canyon bike
Since no one has answered your question about the assembly paste yet, that is for carbon parts that you don’t want to slip, like the seatpost. Probably a good idea to remove your seatpost and put some on there.
It is NOT grease. Don’t put on parts that would require grease.
Does no one know what raw carbon looks like? Can we make this an FAQ or sticky?
