Hi, as the title says I have a little problem. I recently installed pegs and already adjusted my foot position so I don’t hit my pegs when pedaling which works fine. The problem is when I try to manual I have to lean back on my pedals which doesn’t seem possible with my shoe size. Do I need a new frame? Short cranks? Both? Anything else? Here’s a pic of my 21” complete WTP Envy as reference.

  1. Move foot further towards front, angle foot so toes point more down, get a frame with longer chainstay, or remove peg on the side where your back foot usually is.

Ive heard shorter cranks . I got rid of the 4 pegs for that reason . Looped out and that foot caught. Sent me flat on my back. Said hell to the naw naw.

try to drop your back foot below the peg. works for me. also just keep trying and you’ll figure it out. been running 4pegs with a short-ish chainstay and size 12 feet for years and this is no longer a problem for me. you’ll figure it out

Hop into your manuals instead of just pulling up. It will shift your feet forward a bit and change the angle of your foot so it doesn’t hit.
