Spectral CF8 2023 vs CF7 2024 – thoughts?

Hi, Thinking of upgrading from my Giant Trance X and never had a Canyon. Thoughts on the 2023 CF8 on discount vs the 2024 CF7?

Non of these are absolute dealbreakers for me, but as I see it….

Pros: $200 cheaper, 2lbs lighter, more travel.

Cons: No frame storage, also just personally not a fan of AXS and SRAM brakes.

Pros: Frame storage, shimano mechanical drivetrain + brakes.

Cons: Less travel, $200 and 2lbs more weight.

Anything else I'm overlooking? Both have shitty KIS I don't care about but understand you can disable and cover over if it really bugs me? I know the CF8 is a mullet and never tried one but am neutral on this. Also never had RockShox suspension but good to give it a whirl!
