  1. It’s quite worn. You could just buy one new tire to save some money and move the current front tire to the rear for the time being. You always want whatever tire has the least wear on your front.

  2. Those little dots are wear indicators – when they are gone they need to be replaced.

I think these have some life left but are getting close – check them weekly and replace when the dots are gone

  3. The small dimple in the rubber is the wear indicator. The tire is worn out when it disappears. It is still visible on the rear tire so not worn out yet.
You may rotate your tires to try to even the wear or just ride and replace each tire as they get worn out. Both are valid strategies.

  4. Rears usually wear out quicker than the front. As others have mentioned it’s not down to the wear indicators yet, so have a little bit of life left. If you are getting regular puncutres, then I’d replace it. If not, just continue using it until the wear indicators are no longer visible.

  5. The wear indicators might suggest you could still go for a couple of miles, I’d personally still replace the first tire. The second photo looks fine, but the tire on the first photo looks square. Might be the photograph though.
