I was riding home and out of nowhere the rear tube blew . I chalked it up to something I couldn't see, but when I took the tire off, the flat was on the rim side. After peeling off the rim tape because one of the spoke holes was showing, I see there is a ding. Help !!! I really don't want to buy a new rim, it's less than a year old.

Ouch. Did that once on my Trek. They warrantied out the wheels as they were carbon. I don’t know if that’s carbon or aluminum. Contact DT Swiss and Canyon and see what they say. They usually have warranties.
How many km’s on them?
I‘d say since they‘re less than a year old, they probably still are under warranty with DT Swiss (and / or canyon), so I’d give them a call / chat.
I personally would probably still ride that (since it‘s an Aluminium wheelset, Endurance LN), but I’d get it fixed very soon.
No clue how that did happen tho.
Try warranty. If no, send it.
Nah, that part of the rim doesn’t bear too much stress. If it failed somehow it probably wouldn’t be catastrophic either, so I’d ignore it.
If it’s carbon, bin it
