I was in the Netherlands for 3 weeks with family and we biked a ton. The lack of vertical was astonishing. It is literally flat for 100s of miles. Def couldn’t train there for biking or running. I love hills.

I’m in Switzerland, looking for the flattest rides…decided to do tours around the lakes…still can’t seem to find less than 350m climb.

And I’m calling my area flat because my commute is crossing 3 valleys over 30km and only clocking ~270m of elevation. This is next level

6m is insane, I also live in NL and easily get in the hundreds due to bridges, dunes and overpasses.
